About

The Cognitive Coven is a youth-led informal journal that platforms research by anyone between the ages of 13-24, especially girls!  This mainly relates to issues which affect women, girls and marginalized people. Contribute to us through the "Submit to Us" button. All levels of experience are welcome, including beginners or those interested in research who want to learn more!

Our goals

  • According to UNESCO data, less than 30% of researchers worldwide are women. This has many negative consequences for women, including gender data gaps and male-centric perspectives. With this project, we hope to spark an interest in STEM among young girls & women, as well as collect data about neglected & overlooked issues which affect us.

  •  Back up people's experiences with social issues with empirical evidence so they're taken more seriously, which could be really helpful in coming up with solutions against them and advocating for them within our communities.

Girl Up Clubs associated with the Cognitive Coven: Girl Up Emirates, Girl Up TFL, Girl Up Nayaab & Girl Up International Women's Organization.
