Volunteer to tutor children from Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan and more

The Al Muntaha Tutoring Program offers high school/university students and professional teachers from around the world the opportunity to volunteer to tutor Palestinian, Lebanese, Jordanian, Yemeni, Iraqi, and Egyptian children looking to improve their skills in the English language by applying these skills to their interests (such as mathematics or art).

Domestic Abuse and Child Abuse Helpline Service for Dubai: 800111 
(Free of Charge)

DFWAC provides a free of charge helpline service (800111) for all the residents of Dubai and the UAE 24/7, that aims to provide an efficient and professional response for everyone, as anyone can reach this helpline to get more information about the foundation’s services, calling for urgent help, consultations and to get more information about the causes of violence against women and children. The helpline call center employees are highly trained on receiving all types of calls and to evaluate the client’s status to determine the type of the needed service.

Dress for Success is a global not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to almost 150 cities in 25 countries and has helped more than 1.2 million women work towards self-sufficiency.

A mental health clinic in the UAE which is offering free virtual support groups for a variety of issues

The LightHouse is a community mental health and wellness clinic providing quality psychological and psychiatric care to children, adults, couples and families.

Located in central Dubai, The LightHouse brings together an international team of licensed psychologists and psychiatrists offering a range of treatments. The LightHouse is also home to the Raymee Grief Centre, which provides free grief support services to anyone living in the UAE.

A national hotline has been set up in the UAE to support the mental health of vulnerable people during the coronavirus outbreak.

Run by the UAE National Programme for Happiness and Wellbeing (NPHW), the hotline will help people cope with stress, fear and anxiety.


Those in need can call on toll-free support line, 800-4673 (Hope) or connect on WhatsApp to speak directly with specialists.

The service is available in Arabic and English.
